For this assignment i walked around the University of Michigan campus and took pictures of all michigan stuff. This was an open assignment and i chose to do a michigan theme. I walked around campus and took pictures of anything i saw having to do with michigan. I went in to the student union and took pictures in there and went to different michigan sport fields. I chose this picture for my best one because i has the opening gate, and then the field and score board in the back and i think it looks cool how it has both.

Portrait
For this assignment i chose to do portrait. In this picture is my little brother Anthony. He was sitting on the couch watching TV. I chose this picture because he isn't looking right at the camera and you can see details in his face, like his freckles. In my other pictures i picked i liked them also because of detail.

Architecture Assignment
For this assignment i did Architecture. In this picture is the arch's and a little pathway that is by the law library and dorms. I took my pictures at the law school and library and downtown Ann Arbor. I chose this picture because i like the angle and how it shows the pathway and then part of the building. It shows texture in this picture and i also liked that.

Portrait Assignment
For this assignment we learned how to take portraits of people. On the left is a window portrait and on the right is a studio portrait. For the window portrait i learned that you have to stand away from the wall where the light is coming in, and hold a white place card up by the person you are taking a picture of face. Its all natural light for the window portrait. For the studio portrait i learned that you have to use a three light system, two lights are out in front on the sides and then there is a hair light up over top of the person. The studio portrait is using lights not natural light.

Animal Assignment
For this assignment i did animals. In this picture is my dog molly, she is a minture pinture mix. I was playing around with my two dogs and taking pictures of them, but molly seemed to like the camera more than marley did. I chose this picture because it shows emotion in her face and i think it is a cute picture of her.
